Wykari Wines is the newest label from the prestigious Clare Valley Wine region. The company specialises in producing small parcels of boutique premium estate grown Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz .

Wykari Wines is the result of partnership two local Clare families – Rob and Mandy Knight and Peter and Robyn Shearer. Our families have a long history with the wine industry including previous links with the Adelaide Hills, Riverland and Barossa Valley wine regions.

Together, we own two vineyards to the north and south of Clare, totalling 35 acres. These vineyards are managed by our families and the kids have become expert pruners and workers (although most of their time is spent riding motorbikes, playing in the dams and sitting around the bonfire).

Wykari is an interesting name and it relates to our Neagles Rock vineyard to the south of Clare . Wykari is of Aboriginal origin – meaning Windy Hill …and windy it is!

Our flagship wines are released under ‘The Company' label. Why? Because when drinking great wine from the Clare Valley , it is simply…. all about ‘The Company'!
